Royal Scandinavian Mint is one of North America's leading suppliers of modern world coins and official government mint sets. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, RSM is the official North American representative for the government mints of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, as well as the Central Bank of Iceland. The company also successfully markets coins on behalf of the French Mint, British Royal Mint, Central Bank of Ireland, Royal Dutch Mint, Royal Australian Mint and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, as well as items from almost 50 countries in Europe and around the world, many of which have directly entrusted RSM with marketing and sales in North America.
RSM was incorporated on May 5, 2000 in Salt Lake City, Utah by Mr. Ola Borgejordet, a Norwegian national with 5 years experience as Export Manager for the Royal Norwegian Mint (now Mint of Norway), as well as a resume that includes working for DHL and WordPerfect. Mr. Borgejordet is an alumnus of the University of South Florida in Tampa, and also has degrees from the University of Oslo and the Norwegian School of Management.
