This issue is the third in a series of four silver coins that pay tribute to the many lakes of Switzerland.
The Lake Lucerne coin completes the series in 2027.
The obverse shows a bird's eye view of the shining, tranquil lake. The landscape surrounding Lake Geneva is depicted by means of contour lines extending out to the coin's edge.
The reverse is common to all four issues and features a striking graphic symbolizing Switzerland's role as Europe's water tower.
