This release honors the 150th anniversary of the birth of notable poet Ivan Krasko (the pseudonym of Ján Botto), whose volumes of verse, Nox et solitudo (1909) and Verše (1912), were among the finest achievements of Slovak literature.

Ivan Krasko (1876-1958) is one of the founders of modern Slovak lyric poetry, a leading representative of the Slovak Modern movement, Slovak symbolism, and a significant poet of European symbolism.

The obverse features a raven with its head turned towards storm clouds. Rain pours from the clouds onto a tall cross positioned on the right.

The reverse has a portrait of Ivan Krasko.
