This release is dedicated to Lithuanian energy independence, highlighting the nation's commitment to energy security and sustainability.
The obverse features a stylized bird of freedom - a symbol of energy - soaring dynamically and vigorously upward. The lightning rods symbolize energy and purpose. At the top of the coin, the bird’s head morphs into a stylized version of the Columns of the Gediminas, while the wings illustrate the harmony between internal energy sources and new external connections. The obverse also bears the inscription “LIETUVA” (LITHUANIA), the year of issue
(2026), and the mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint.
The reverse features the typical geographical image of Europe. |
