This coin set brings together all 24 euro coins from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg (Benelux) for 2026, featuring the very first Luxembourg BU coins bearing the portrait of the new Grand Duke Guillaume. Please note that not all denominations will circulate.

This year, the deluxe four-panel card presentation with a numbered sleeve is entirely dedicated to portraits of monarchs on euro coins.

In the Benelux, euro coins feature the portraits of the reigning monarchs. Unlike other eurozone countries, these monarchies are permitted to update the national side immediately following a change of monarch. This exception, enshrined in EU legislation, makes every new monarch a coveted symbol for collectors.

Since the introduction of the euro in 2002, which replaced the Belgian franc, the Dutch guilder and the Luxembourg franc, every succession to the throne has led to a redesign. This reflects not only the direction in which the monarch is facing, but also the image he wishes to project, as well as European design requirements and national identity.

The set also includes an exclusive medal featuring a map of the Benelux showing the national lions and royal monograms. On the reverse, the three royal coats of arms are surrounded by the name, accession date and monogram of the current monarchs.
