This release commemorates the National Lottery in Belgium.

The National Lottery of Belgium is an important institution that has been contributing to society for more than 90 years. Since its establishment in 1934, the Lottery has organised various games of chance, such as lotteries and betting. Proceeds are used to support social projects with a focus on culture, welfare, health and sport.

The reverse shows the text ‘loterie nationale loterij’ can be seen on the left. Below that ‘BE 2025’, below it the mintmaster's mark (an erlenmeyer flask with aster) and the mint mark of the Royal Dutch Mint (the Mercury staff). Central in the background the logo of the National Lottery, over it Lady Fortuna with the horn of plenty, from which a number of four-leaf clovers fall. Bottom right are the initials of the coin's designer.

The obverse is the standard 2 euro design featuring a map of Europe and the denomination.
