This issue honors the national bird of Andorra, the bearded vulture or lammergeier.
The Bearded Vulture is the only vulture that has specialized in the processing bones of dead animals. This special diet requires many adaptations and therefore the Bearded Vulture differs to other vulture species in many aspects.
The species is in decline in Andorra.
