This is the annual themed uncirculated coin set from the Italian Mint, featuring all eight of the standard Euro coins bearing the unique national obverses, as well as the commemorative €5 Silver BU coin honoring the Italian Federation for Rare Diseases.

Designed by Claudia Momonim the obverse of the colorized coin features the official logo of Uniamo (Italian Federation of Rare Diseases) surrounded by a series of small, hollow balls, indicating the rarity compared to the normality represented with a circle of larger, raised balls.

The reverse has the logo of Rare Disease Day, established in 2008, which in 2024 was celebrated on 29 February, depicting a human silhouette within hands, to represent solidarity towards people with rare diseases.

The coins are fitted in a card within a laminated plastic blister, placed inside an illustrated sleeve with text in both Italian and English.
