This is the official French euro proof set for the year 2024, and includes the standard 8 circulating coins 1, 2, 5 cent coins & 1 and 2 euros, as well as the new designs for the 10, 20 and 50 cents, all struck to the highest proof quality.

The 10, 20 and 50 cent coin denominations now feature the profiles of three exceptional French women - Marie Curie (50 cent), Josephine Baker (20 cent) and Simone Veil (10 cent), all of whom are buried in the Panthéon in Paris.

The new designs replace the three coins from the earlier series in use from 1999 featuring a modern interpretation of Oscar Roty’s classical design "The Sower."
