This is a set containing three colorized silver coins featuring the main characters from the Italian comic strip Diabolik.
Created in 1962 by sisters Angela and Luciana Giussani, Diabolik is extremely popular in Italy where more than 900 comic books have been published. Its main characters are Diabolik, a legendary thief who follows an ancient code of conduct,
Eva Kant, Diabolik's lover and accomplice, and a skilled and ruthless criminal in her own right, and Inspector Ginko, a determined and incorruptible police detective who attempts, unsuccessfully, to capture Diabolik on numerous occasions.
