Finland’s social and healthcare services reform is one of the most significant administrative makeovers in the country’s history. From the beginning of 2023, the responsibility for organizing social and health care as well as rescue operations was transferred to new welfare areas. The goal of this internationally unique innovation is to secure and further improve the well-being of Finland’s people.
