After the Sower, Hercules, the Rooster and Marianne, Monnaie de Paris pays tribute to the Nature of France in numismatics in a new trilogy series from 2020 to 2022.

This new series highlights the beauty of the nature through three strong numismatic symbols, namely the oak leaf (2020), the laurel wreath (2021) and the sheaf of wheat (2022).

Synonymous with eternity, the Laurel is also a symbol of glory and is closely linked to Victory. A part of French history, it is therefore a major element in numismatics.

On the obverse, the leaves of the laurel triumphs as a close-up at the center of the coin. A beaded design around the edge of the coin gives it some elegance reminding us of historic French coins designs.

The reverse is common to the entire series and shows the oak, the laurel and the sheaf of wheat. A hexagon representing France is inserted into the design. A beaded design marking the outline of the coin gives it some elegance reminiscent of older French coins designs.
