In conjunction with the release of the new comic book in 2020, Monnaie de Paris is honouring the world of Lucky Luke - the poor lonesome cowboy that can draw faster than his own shadow!

The obverse features one of the cells from Lucky Luke's new book, "A Cowboy in High Cotton", where Lucky Luke and his trusty horse Jolly Jumper, are crossing a cotton field upon their arrival in Louisiana.

The reverse represents one of the most emblematic cartoon boards of this Franco-Belgian comic strip. Here, Lucky Luke fights a duel against his own shadow and proves once again that he is indeed the fastest shooter in the West.
