The reverse depicts the coat of arms of the city of Naro-Fominsk, with the inscriptions "ГОРОДА ВОИНСКОЙ СЛАВЫ" (TOWNS OF MARTIAL GLORY) and "НАРО-ФОМИНСК" (Naro-Fominsk).

The obverse has "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), the year date of issue, and the stylized images of a bay tree and oak twigs respectively, as well as the mint mark and the denomination "10 РУБЛЕЙ" (10 ROUBLES).
