Issued on January 19, 2007 this base metal coin celebrates the 125th anniversary of the birth of János Adorján, the mechanical engineer and Hungarian aviation pioneer. The coin is the third in series presenting technical innovations and inventions of Hungarian engineers and inventors.

The reverse shows the Libelle airplane and features the legend "JANOS ADORJAN, DESIGNER OF THE FIRST SUCCESSFUL HUNGARIAN AEROPLANE" in Hungarian. The obverse shows a detail of an airplane engine and propeller.

The issue is sold out from the Hungarian Mint.
