Issued on June 15, this coin marks the 500th anniversary of prominent 16th century printer and publisher Jiří Melantrich of Aventinum (born Jiřík Černý).

The obverse shows shows a composition of five books with Jiří Melantrich’s signature, as well as ornamental decorations. The reverse depicts the title page of the Bible published by Jiří Melantrich of Aventinum in 1570 with the publisher’s signature in the middle.
