This is the fourth issue in the series "Lighthouses of Finland", and includes the complete circulating euro coinage of Finland. Also included in the set is a medal from the series "Finnish lighthouses", featuring the lighthouse at Märket.

In the middle of the Åland Sea, divided by the border between Finland and Sweden, lies the small and low isle of Märket. The rocky isle was a threat to shipping, and a lighthouse was built there of chunky stones in 1885. Lighthouse keepers lived on the barren isle till 1976, after which the lighthouse was automated. The Finnish Lighthouse Association has commenced the restoration of the valuable lighthouse building.
