Issued on October 24, 2007, this issue is the second in the series "History of the Polish Cavalry" and celebrates the heavy-armed knights of the 15th century.

The reverse of the coin features a stylized image a heavily armored horseman with a lance. The inscription says "Heavily Armored Mounted Horseman" in Polish. The obverse shows the Polish state Emblem - the eagle - and the inscription "Republic of Poland" in Polish and the year of issue and denomination.
