2007
In 2007, most euro countries changed the common side of the five highest denominated euro coins - €1, €2, 50-cent, 20-cent and 10-cent - because the old obverse only reflected the European Union before it was enlarged from 15 to 25 members in 2004. The common side of the smallest denomination coins (1-cent, 2-cent and 5-cent) represent Europe in the world and were not affected. |
