This official 2006-dated proof set from the South African Mint consists of 7 coins, namely the 5, 10, 20 and 50-cent pieces, as well as the 1, 2 and 5 Rand.

The obverse of all coins shows the South African coat-of-arms with "South Africa" written in different South African languages (there are 11 official). The reverses show native flowers, birds and wildlife.

The coins come delivered in individual plastic capsules in a jewel box.
